Dallas Names New Police Chief, First Woman to Serve

Dallas finally named its new police chief on Wednesday. City Manager T.C. Broadnax announced he hired Detroit Deputy Police Chief Ulysha Renee Hall and, in doing so, she becomes the first woman to serve as the department’s top cop.

NFL’s Isaiah Crowell Donates First Paycheck to Dallas Fallen Police Officers Foundation

According to reports, Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell has now fulfilled his pledge to donate his first paycheck of the season to the Dallas Fallen Police Officers Foundation. Crowell donated around $35,000 to the police fund after promising to do so earlier this summer when he caused pain and controversy by posting an image of a police officer being murdered on his social media, according to LawOfficer.com.
