China Spends Near $600 Billion On Economy

Reuters: The world’s fourth largest economy, China, plans to spend nearly $600 billion to boost demand in the face of the global slowdown. The official Xinhua news agency said investments will be targeted at infrastructure, social welfare and other key sectors as part of an “active” fiscal policy.
