Rhode Island Town: No Trash Pickup for People Who Don't Recycle

WPRI: Starting Thursday, Cranston residents who do not put out recycle bins will not get their trash picked up .



City residents will have to separate recyclables from their trash, and have at least one recycling bin out to have their garbage collected.



Cranston’s city coucil adopted the ‘no bin, no pickup’ policy last fall, as a way to protect the environment and cut the city’s trash collection budget.
