Chris Matthews: Sanders a Better Campaigner, Bill Is a ‘Little Rusty’

Monday on MSNBC’s New Hampshire primary coverage, “Hardball” host Chris Matthews said former President Bill Clinton was a “little rusty” while on the campaign trail for his wife Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

After playing a clip of Bill Clinton, Matthews said, “You know, I hate to tell you, this is a hard call. I think Bernie Sanders right now is a better campaigner than Bill  Clinton. Bernie Sanders is on his game. Bill’s out of — a little rusty.”
