Alexis Simendinger: ‘In Any Other Kind of Election Cycle,’ Clinton Emails Would Get ‘Much More’ Coverage

On Friday’s broadcast of PBS’ “Washington Week,” Real Clear Politics White House Correspondent Alexis Simendinger stated that “in any other kind of election cycle,” the Clinton emails released by WikiLeaks would be discussed “in a much more vigorous and intensive way.”

Simendinger said, “If we had been in any other kind of election cycle, we would be talking about this in a much more vigorous and intensive way.”
