Man Arrested for Allegedly Shooting at Police Officer in Georgia

A suspect has been arrested after allegedly opening fire on a police officer in Roswell, Georgia, early Friday morning.

The suspect is identified as “21-year-old Victor Alonzo Majia Nunez.”

According to WSB-TV, the unnamed officer was patrolling in “the area of Old Roswell Road and Commerce Parkway” when Nunez allegedly fired a shot at him from a passing vehicle. The officer was not hit.

The officer gave chase and Nunez crashed his vehicle “after a short pursuit.” No injuries were incurred during the crash.

Nunez was arrested at the scene of the crash.
