President Donald Trump said he still has confidence in Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, even after he reportedly called the president a moron.

Trump was asked after a meeting with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger if he still has confidence in Tillerson.

“Yes,” Trump replied shortly.

The president repeatedly denounced reports about Tillerson’s “moron” comment as “fake news” and joked that he might take an IQ test with his secretary of state.

“I think it’s fake news, but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests,” Trump said in an interview with Forbes. “And I can tell you who is going to win.”

Asked by reporters if he undercut Tillerson by proposing an IQ test, he replied, “No, I didn’t undercut anybody. I don’t believe in undercutting people.”

Trump is meeting Tillerson Tuesday afternoon, along with Secretary of Defense James Mattis.
