Federal immigration officials have committed to deporting — for the sixth time — the seven-time felon illegal alien who allegedly shot and killed 32-year-old Kate Steinle on a pier in the sanctuary city of San Francisco, California.

Following the not guilty murder verdict for five-times deported illegal alien Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, also known as Jose Ines Garcia Zarate — who previously admitted to shooting and killing 32-year-old Kate Steinle while she was walking on a pier with her father — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials say the criminal Mexican national will be deported again from the United States.

“Following the conclusion of this case, ICE will work to take custody of Mr. Garcia Zarate and ultimately remove him from the country,” ICE Deputy Director Tom Homan said.

Homan also slammed San Francisco law enforcement and city officials for refusing to cooperate with ICE previously in order to remove Lopez-Sanchez from the U.S., a move that would have saved Steinle’s life.

“San Francisco’s policy of refusing to honor ICE detainers is a blatant threat to public safety and undermines the rule of law,” Homan continued. “This tragedy could have been prevented if San Francisco had simply turned the alien over to ICE, as we requested, instead of releasing him back onto the streets. It is unconscionable that politicians across this country continue to endanger the lives of Americans with sanctuary policies while ignoring the harm inflicted on their constituents.”

Since San Francisco remains a sanctuary city that gives safe haven to criminal illegal aliens, ICE officials will have to know the exact date and time that local law enforcement will release the illegal alien in order to detain him and ultimately deport him.

Without knowledge of his release, ICE officials would have to use sources and evidence to track down Lopez-Sanchez before he moves around the U.S. to possibly avoid deportation.

While walking with her father on a pier in 2015, Steinle was shot by the illegal alien. Steinle pleaded with her father to not let her die, but she soon passed in her father’s arms.

Steinle’s death has not only caused a national debate on immigration policy, but the killing has galvanized a grassroots movements of pro-American immigration reformers and Angel Parents — the family members of Americans killed by illegal aliens — to demand a crackdown on illegal immigration and a legal immigration policy that puts the jobs, needs, and lives of Americans first.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions released a statement, saying that the elected officials in sanctuary cities should “reflect” on the Steinle verdict and “the harm” they are doing to American citizens by allowing illegal aliens to roam across their cities.

“The Department of Justice will continue to ensure that all jurisdictions place the safety and security of their communities above the convenience of criminal aliens,” Sessions said. “I urge the leaders of the nation’s communities to reflect on the outcome of this case and consider carefully the harm they are doing to their citizens by refusing to cooperate with federal law enforcement officers.”
