Wednesday, Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-SC, delivered a passionate floor speech, eliciting cheers from the gallery, in support his bill, the Enforce the Law Act, which aims to hold the president accountable and check executive abuses.
In his speech, he asked the president what’s changed since 2008:
Mr. President, what’s changed? pic.twitter.com/Dj1WqoCRVG

And he attempted to shame Democrats into voting for his bill:
I will never stand and clap when any President promises to make us an afterthought. http://t.co/IDP00lW8yH

The House passed H.R. 4138 in a 233 to 181 vote. 181 Democrats apparently don’t mind being an afterthought as long as the right president is in office. Only five Democrats voted for the bill. No Republicans voted against it.
