Ferguson protesters are throwing bottles and fireworks at law enforcement, according to the St. Louis Police Department.
The violent protests intensified following the announcement that a grand jury will not indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, who fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown in apparent self defense.
The St. Louis police department tweeted on Tuesday night, “Reports of bottles and fireworks being thrown at officers in front of #Ferguson PD. Officers holding the line.”

Protesters have gathered in 176 cities around the country, outraged by the fact that Wilson will not be indicted.
