'Caveman' Hides Out After Being Dubbed Hero for Clobbering Robber With Ladder

WSB: The ‘Caveman’ has gone into hiding.



Don ‘Caveman’ Smith was called a hero after he confronted an armed robber Monday, clobbering the thief with a step ladder.



But all the publicity proved too much for Smith. The manager of the store where Smith bashed the knife-wielding crook said Wednesday the homeless Smith is laying low.
