Former Vikings WR Bernard Berrian Catches Ex-College Teammate Burglarizing Home

Bernard Berrian, former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, caught friend and former teammate at Fresno State Therrian Fontenot burglarizing his home after checking surveillance from an email alert about someone being in his house while he was away.

Berrian said he was victim to two previous burglaries, which resulted in him setting up extra security at his Northeast Fresno home in hopes to stop the crime spree which he claims resulted in the loss of around $30,000.

Days after installing the extra security, Berrian received an email alert about an intruder while at a barbecue that Fontenot had just departed. He pulled up the live surveillance video only to catch his former teammate in the act.

“I actually watched him doing it while he was doing it,” Berrian told ABC30 reporters. “I could have actually spoke to him, I got a microphone on there. I could have told him, ‘I got you,’ while he was doing it.”
