Watch: Woman Told to Move Car with Confederate Flags from Hospital

A Tennessee woman visiting her grandmother in the hospital was recently asked to take down the Confederate flags from her car.

Thursday, President of Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN requested repeatedly for Chaneine McBath to remove the two flags, saying the flag is “racist.”

“He wanted to keep repeating to me that he has African American workers and that flag is racist,” said McBath.

McBath said this is not the first opposition she has seen to her flags. Her car has even been vandalized for displaying them, but she maintains that the flags have “nothing to do” with racism or hatred.

“It really hurts me because you’re taking my rights.  You’re taking what I am.  My roots run Southern,” McBath reacted.
