West Virginia Teen Arrested for Recording People Using Mall Bathroom

WSAZ reports that a man in Barboursville, WV noticed he was being watched while in the bathroom at Huntington Mall Thursday.

According to Barboursville Police Chief Mike Coffey, an 18-year-old male positioned his cellphone under the bathroom stall on three separate occasions to record video of the man as he was partially undressed.

Police searched the suspect’s phone and found video of the victim, along with a video of another man using the bathroom in the mall earlier that day.

The 18-year-old admitted to recording the videos that were found on his phone. He is charged with two counts of criminal invasion of privacy.
