Maureen Dowd: In This Race, The Emotional and ‘B*tchy’ Candidate Is ‘The Male Candidate’

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd stated that ” in this race, there’s someone who gets their feelings hurt really easily, and their emotions are all over the place, and moody, and gossipy, and b*tchy…and that’s the male candidate.”

Dowd said, “Well, you know, for a couple of centuries, women were considered temperamentally and biologically unsuited to hold a higher office. So, in this race, there’s someone who gets their feelings hurt really easily, and their emotions are all over the place, and moody, and gossipy, and bitchy, and sort of shrewish and hysterical sometimes, and that’s — oh, and also obsessed with hair care, and that’s the male candidate.”
