Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” host Nicolle Wallace wondered if Cabinet members questioning whether President Donald Trump was “cuckoo” could be considered “being on team America.”
During a discussion of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein reportedly talking about the 25th Amendment, Wallace said, “It’s an interesting moment to wonder if the Congress, if Democrats take over, should bring every Cabinet secretary up to the Hill and ask them to testify whether they think the 25th Amendment is necessary. This is now the fourth account we know of the Cabinet talking about the 25th Amendment.”
After playing a clip of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo saying that discussing the 25th Amendment is not “remotely” being on the team, Wallace asked, “Is it possible that if you think he’s cuckoo, it’s called being on team America?”
