“Saturday Night Live” had a hard task last night. How do you mock this week’s vice presidential when Joe Biden already beat you to it?
The liberal sketch show ended up showing Biden’s unhinged performance as playful while focusing on GOP contender Paul Ryan’s water consumption and marathon time gaffe.
Perhaps the only satirical blow of note landed on Biden came with this line on the abortion debate:
“I accept the teachings of the Catholic church, but like most Catholics I ignore them and do what I want,” Jason Sudeikis, who plays Biden on the show, admitted.
