Funny or Die's Latest ObamaCare Propaganda Taps Obscure Film Character

Remember Adam Scott’s work in the 2008 comedy Step Brothers with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly?

No? He’s the guy from Parks and Recreation? Still nothing? He did that really good drama The Violent Kind a few years back that no one saw.

Never mind.

Viewers might be asking some of those questions as they tee up the latest ObamaCare propaganda clip courtesy of Funny or Die. Scott revisits his Step Brothers character, Derek, in a last-ditch effort to sign young Americans up for the president’s flailing health care overhaul.

Scott is joined by Survivor mainstay Jeff Probst, Mark Cuban and singer Chris Daughtry, who call themselves the “Cool Squad.” These cool kids allow themselves to peddle a health care overhaul riddled with serious problems and peddled with heaping helpings of misinformation.

The video comes on the heels of numerous Funny or Die clips claiming that ObamaCare is exactly what the president promised it would be. The most notable snippet, Between Two Ferns, had the president answering insulting queries from Zach Galifianakis.
