HGTV Yanks Show Starring Allegedly Anti-Gay Activists

HGTV will not move forward with a new reality series because two of the show’s stars are alleged to be anti-gay activists.

A liberal web site reported that David Benham, set to star in the series Flip It Forward, once told a talk show host that American Christians must make amends for allowing “homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation.”

HGTV subsequently sent out a tweet saying the show will not go on:

HGTV has decided not to move forward with the Benham Brothers’ series.

The cable channel announced the series at its upfront presentation last month, describing it as a show where families learn how to purchase homes seemingly out of their economic reach. Brothers Jason and David Benham would share their house flipping expertise with families eager to buy a new home.
