New Sex Abuse Suit Filed Against 'X-Men' Director Bryan Singer

Bryan Singer, the X-Men director accused in a lawsuit last month of sexually assaulting a teen, is now the target of a second, similar legal charge.

The new lawsuit also was filed by Jeff Herman, the attorney representing the man, Michael Egan, who originally claimed Singer and three other prominent Hollywood executives sexually assaulted him when he was a teen.

The new lawsuit … alleges that Singer and Broadway producer Gary Goddard sexually assaulted a British teenager. He is known in the lawsuit as “John Doe No. 117,” fearing “further psychological injury” if his name is disclosed.

Once more, Singer’s attorney, Marty Singer (no relation), decried the accusations as fiction.

After the substance of Mr. Herman’s previous defamatory and fabricated filing in Hawaii was disproved based on unassailable evidence, Mr. Herman’s desperation has led him to fabricate these new anonymous accusations against Mr. Singer, which we will also prove to be completely false,” Marty Singer said.

A lawyer representing Goddard also denied the accusation and vowed to “vigorously defend” his client.
