Alec Baldwin, a left-wing actor who once called an ex-NYPD officer a “coon” and is now infamous for his repeated gay-bashing, took to Twitter to attack two-time Oscar nominee James Woods over a series of tweets Woods fired off in the wake of the assassination of two New York City police officers Saturday night.
Echoing the sentiments of many, among other things, Woods described Al Sharpton as a “race pig” for the MSNBC host’s role in ginning up, without any evidence, racial hatred against the NYPD.
Just a few hours after Baldwin himself had politicized the shootings by attacking Patrick Lynch, the president of New York’s largest police union, he lashed out at Woods:

Last year Baldwin launched a racist rant against a former-NYPD police officer even after the man (a New York Post photographer), identified himself as a former-cop to the former television star. The slurs Baldwin hurled at the black man included “coon,” “crack head,” and “drug dealer.”
He then called G.N. Miller — a decorated retired detective with the NYPD’s Organized Crime Control Bureau and a staff photographer for The Post — a “coon, a drug dealer,’’ Miller’s police statement said.
At one point, Miller showed Baldwin ID to prove he’s a retired NYPD cop, which Baldwin dismissed as “fake.” …
Minutes later, Baldwin ranted on Twitter. …
In another post, Baldwin referred to Miller, for unknown reasons, as “Ralston,” writing, “Moments after I tweet about the Post, Ralston, the ex-crackhead ‘photographer’ shows up at my door w 1 of Murdoch’s nieces in tow.”
He added, “Ralston claims he’s ex NYPD!! That can’t be!!! Ex NYPD don’t become crackhead, ex jailhouse paparazzi!”
