LONDON, England – Thousands of London’s iconic black cab drivers today descended upon the centre of government in Britain, Whitehall and Trafalgar Square, in order to protest against the introduction of the minicab smartphone application Uber.
Breitbart London was on the scene to ask questions of the cabbies arguing in favour of protectionism of their industry, and higher prices for customers.
The following video was taken today, where we found that cabbies were given lines to take by their unions, and got them to admit (in the end) that they weren’t really out for the benefit of the customers, but rather to protect their own, ageing industry…
