Migrants chanted “Germany!” after they were blocked from entering one of the main train stations in Budapest, Hungary.
The migrants chanted “What do we want? Germany!” as they crowded outside the entrance of Keleti station following a decision by Hungarian authorities to stop them boarding trains bound for Austria and Germany without visa checks.
A government spokesman said Hungary was trying to enforce European Union law which, despite allowing free travel across international borders, still requires non-EU citizens to hold valid passports and visas.
The move follows chaotic scenes at German stations after 2,000 migrants arrived overnight on Tuesday on trains from Hungary.
Yesterday, Breitbart London reported how Manfred Schmidt, head of Germany’s Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, said there would be “no upward limits” on the number of refugees his country could take.
