May 13 (UPI) — Amara La Negra and Eva Marcille have joined the lineup for the 2026 BET Black + Iconic Soiree.
BET announced in a press release Wednesday that La Negra, a singer and television personality who stars on Love & Hip Hop: Miami, and Marcille, a television personality and actress known for Real Housewives of Atlanta and All the Queen’s Men, will present awards at the fourth annual event May 23 at MGM National Harbor in Oxon, Md.
Carter the Body (All the Queen’s Men) and Ty Young (Basketball Wives) will also appear as presenters.
The BET Black + Iconic Soiree celebrates “the brilliance, creativity, and cultural impact of the Black LGBTQ+ and ally community.”
Actress and advocate Laverne Cox will host this year’s event, with Lavelle Dontae to serve as red carpet host. “Oops (Oh My)” singer Tweet will perform.
Damon Jones, Jason Lee, Marquise Vilson Balenciaga, and TS Madison were previously announced as honorees.
