Mary J. Blige finalizes divorce from Kendu Isaacs

June 21 (UPI) — Mary J. Blige is officially divorced from ex-husband Kendu Isaacs.

Entertainment Tonight reported the 47-year-old singer finalized her divorce from Isaacs, her former manager, Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Documents show the details of Blige and Kendu’s divorce settlement are confidential, according to TMZ. The pair reached a settlement in March following reports Kendu was seeking $130,000 per month in spousal support.

Blige filed for divorce in July 2016 after 12 years of marriage. She was ordered in June 2017 to pay Isaacs $30,000 per month in temporary spousal support after arguing in December 2016 that she was struggling with debt.

“[Isaacs] suggests we lived a lavish lifestyle and in fact, we over spent and we are in significant debt,” the star said in court documents. “We owe millions of dollars in taxes and have significant advances that have to be recouped by record companies.”
