Paul Thomas Anderson wins DGA Award for 'One Battle'

Feb. 8 (UPI) — Paul Thomas Anderson wins Directors Guild of America Award for Best Feature for One Battle After Another in Los Angeles Saturday.

Charlie Polinger took home the prize for Best First Feature for The Plague, while Mstyslav Chernov earned the honor for Best Documentary for 2000 Meters to Andriivka.

On the TV side, Amanda Marsalis won the award for Best Direction in a Drama Series for The Pitt and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg shared the accolade for Best Direction in a Comedy Series for The Studio.

Shannon Murphy scored the trophy for Best Direction in a Limited or Anthology Series for Dying for Sex and Stephen Chbosky won the prize for Best Direction of a TV Movie for Nonnas.

Actor, comedian, writer, and producer Kumail Nanjiani hosted the gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
