Sarah Palin Cuts Radio Ad for Chris McDaniel, Urges MS Voters to 'Send a Message' to DC

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin urges voters in Mississippi to “send a message” to Washington, D.C.’s permanent political class in a new radio ad for conservative Mississippi Senate candidate Chris McDaniel just days before Tuesday’s GOP primary.

Palin says GOP primary voters in Mississippi “have a chance to send a message to Washington” on Tuesday and hailed McDaniel as a “conservative who is running to shake things up.”

In the ad, she says McDaniel will “fight for us and fight for our values” and mentioned that in Mississippi’s state senate, McDaniel “led the fight to cut government spending,” Mississippi’s “legal fight against Obamacare” and opposed Common Core efforts.

McDaniel said that “Palin knows what it takes to fight against the entrenched incumbency in Washington, D.C. and we could not be more thrilled to have the governor’s support.”

“I am truly humbled that Governor Palin has joined in this fight for liberty in Mississippi,” McDaniel said. “Governor Palin is a true champion of conservative self-reliance that so many Americans and Mississippians identify with and admire.”

When she endorsed McDaniel in March, Palin framed the race as a “clear fight for the future of the Republican Party against the entrenched interests of the permanent political class in D.C..” And the battle between McDaniel and six-term incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) has been a doozy.

McDaniel has also been endorsed by Mark Levin, Phyllis Schlafly, the Club for Growth, the Senate Conservatives Fund, the Tea Party Express, the Tea Party Patriots, Young Americans for Liberty, the Madison Project, and the National Association for Gun Rights, in addition to other prominent conservatives and groups across the state and the nation.

The 60-second ad will play on conservative talk radio stations across the state in the last week of the election.
