NBC’s Today Show Host Willie Geist Predicts Donald Trump as GOP Nominee

NBC’s Today Show host Willie Geist predicted GOP frontrunner Donald Trump will be the Republican Party nominee.

“Man, I’m going to say it – Donald Trump,” Geist said during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night when host Andy Cohen asked, “If you had to guess right now who do you think the Republican and Democratic nominees will be?”

“You know what, I think the last time I was here we talked about this. Hillary Clinton – odds on favorite on the Democratic side. Man, I’m going to say it. Donald Trump,” Geist predicted.

Cohen respond, “Really? Wow.”

“If this bit goes on long enough and his leads are maintained, Donald Trump could be the nominee,” Geist explained.

Geist is co-anchor of NBC’s Today Show and co-anchor of MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
