GOP presidential candidates Dr. Ben Carson, Gov. Jeb Bush, and Sen. Rick Santorum took to Twitter to blast President Obama as Iran holds captive 10 U.S. Navy men and two vessels on Tuesday.

“BREAKING: While POTUS is preparing to talk about his so called “accomplishments,” 10 of our American sailors are being held by ‪#Iran,” Carson posted on Twitter.

He added, “Foreign policy is about respect. ‪#Iran not releasing US sailors shows how ‪@POTUS’s lack of leadership has destroyed our global credibility.”

His comments come on the same day that Carson released his foreign policy plan.

GOP presidential candidate former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush also posted about the Iranian hostage situation.

“If our sailors aren’t coming home yet, they need to be now. No more bargaining. Obama’s humiliatingly weak Iran policy is exposed again,” Bush posted on Twitter.

GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum also posted on Twitter, “WH says our sailors are being given courtesies? This is feckless. WH is endangering our troops. Demand their return NOW!”

***UPDATE***

Ohio Gov. John Kasich also posted on Twitter, “Iran should release our sailors immediately and @POTUS should call for it tonight. #SOTU”
