GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson reportedly said he would consider serving as vice president under GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.

“I would have to have major philosophical alignment with whoever it was,” Carson responded, when asked if he would consider serving as a vice president under any of the GOP candidates. “I would have to have guarantees that I could do some substantial things.”

Carson was also questioned specifically about Trump, saying,  “I certainly would sit down and discuss it.”

The retired neurosurgeon declined to name any candidates he wouldn’t agree to serve with as vice president.
