Two people were injured and a suspect apprehended during a mid-afternoon stabbing on the Rutgers University campus.
The incident occurred at the Rutgers Business School around 2:30 pm.
NBC News reports the school tweeted a warning about the stabbing just before 3 pm:
RU ALERT: Stabbing at Rutgers Business School (New Brunswick). Avoid the area and/or take shelter. 11/04/2016 14:45:32 EDT

The school issued an “RU Alert” 30 minutes later, letting students know the suspect had been apprehended and the campus was safe:

CBS News reports an investigation into the attack “is ongoing.”
