President Donald Trump’s Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley was a “star” at Fort Myer in Arlington, VA, where Trump delivered an address to the nation on his administration’s more hawkish Afghanistan strategy on Monday.

Veteran CBS White House reporter Mark Knoller tweeted that Haley was a “star” and soldiers were “lining up to take a photo with her.” Trump is reportedly set to approve sending at least 4,000 additional U.S. soldiers to Afghanistan.

Anti-trump pundit Bill Kristol, who revealed that he is actively working behind the scenes to oust Trump in 2020, recently tweeted that Republicans needed to “persuade” Trump to resign or support “impeachment if cause.”

Kristol then said he would rather have Haley–and not Pence–on top of the 2020 ticket to replace Trump.
