Sarah Sanders Responds to Iran Deal Criticism by Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Kerry

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders responded to three former prominent Democrats who criticized the president for tearing up the Iran nuclear deal.

“I think based on each of those individuals’ lack of success in this entire process on foreign affairs, they would probably be the last three people that we would look to for advice and council and whether or not we made the right decision,” Sanders said, when asked if the president had any response to their criticisms.

Kerry said that killing the deal isolated America from the world, making the country weaker. Obama called the decision “a serious mistake,” and Hillary Clinton said that America’s credibility was “shot.”

Trump commented on his decision while speaking to reporters at the White House on Wednesday.

“We’ll see how we do with Iran,” he said. “Probably, we won’t do very well with them, but that’s okay too. They’ve got to understand life, because I don’t think they do understand life.”

Trump reminded the audience that Iran was guilty of funding terrorism around the Middle East, particularly in Syria and Yemen.

“It’s bedlam and death and we can’t allow that to happen,” he said.
