NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell claims that he has not yet decided if he will suspend Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Hall of Famer and current FS1 analyst Cris Carter said on FS1’s “Undisputed,” that “in the next 48 hours I would be shocked if Zeke was not suspended.” Carter also said, “based on the information that’s going to come out, it’s going to be fairly easy to determine that something happened to this woman in her four days of being with Zeke.”

That report, led to Goodell fielding the question about Elliott’s potential suspension. When asked about Carter’s report, Goodell said, “I don’t think Cris has anything to do with the decision. We haven’t made any decisions yet.”

League Spokesman Brian McCarthy echoed that sentiment in an email to the Star-Telegram, “The matter remains under review. That is speculation on [Carter’s] part.”

Elliott has been under league investigation for an alleged domestic violence incident more than a year ago.
