New Poll: Tie in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District Special Election Despite $23 Million Raised by Democrat

A new poll charting the battle to replace Rep. Tom Price in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District special election that will be held on June 20 shows the race between Jon Ossoff, the Democrat, and Karen Handel, the Republican, is tied. This is despite the $23 million that Ossoff has raised for his campaign, the vast majority of which has come from out-of-state:

FEC Complaint Filed Against Clinton Campaign, DNC

Ward Campaign Claims McCain Intern Evaded Payment, Falsified FEC Form At Fundraising Event

According to the Ward campaign, the intern was contacted over the phone regarding the contribution information provided. The conversation was described as the McCain intern accusing the Ward campaign of bullying and the Ward campaign response, “It’s not bullying when someone attends a private fundraiser on private property, knowingly falsifies a document for federal reporting, and tries to get out of paying.”

Former Legislator: Ban Political Ads from Canadian TV, Radio

A former Canadian Liberal legislator is calling for a permanent ban on political television and radio ads in Canada, citing the status quo of restrictions on political messaging in Britain as his model. In Britain, John Milloy says, “major political parties” are each apportioned an equal amount of time by on government-licensed television stations to make their pitches.

Trump Files Personal Financial Disclosure with FEC, Said Net Worth in Excess of $10 Billion Dollars

“This report was not designed for a man of Mr. Trump’s massive wealth,” noted a press release sent by Trump’s campaign. “For instance, they have boxes once a certain number is reached that simply state $50 million or more. Many of these boxes have been checked. As an example, if a building owned by Mr. Trump is worth $1.5 billion, the box checked is “$50,000,000 or more.””
