Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI), adorned with pink latex gloves, exploded on the House floor on Friday after running out the clock during her speech, causing chaos in the chamber as she proceeded in delivering her remarks, shouting, “I rise before you adorned in these latex gloves, not for personal attention. I rise for every American who is scared right now!”

Democrat presidential hopeful and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is amping up his presence in Michigan ahead of the state’s March 10 primary and has received an endorsement from Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI).

Two of them already voted against the partisan impeachment push by their own party’s leadership and are expected to again, but the fate of articles of impeachment rests in the hands of the 31 Democrats who represent districts won by President Donald Trump in 2016.

Republicans are poised to make impeachment an albatross for Democrats, particularly in red states where the move would nullify those who voted for President Trump.
