The popular anti-SJW page known as “Meninist” has been restored on Facebook after Breitbart Tech’s report on Wednesday.

The page, which had nearly 400,000 likes, was originally removed after a wave of feminists reported the page. After heavy criticism however, Facebook has now restored the page in its previous form.

“I honestly lost all hope in Facebook restoring our page” said the page’s owner and primary admin in an email to Breitbart Tech.

“We got warnings in the past for Meninist but we never expected to be unpublished and banned, and never thought it would go to this extent… Nowadays people are offended by everything, and Facebook loves listening to these people. Facebook really does need to be held accountable and it’s ridiculous what they’re doing”.

“We got a notification from facebook that they’d removed a meme on the page for violating their community standards. We didn’t think anything of it because it wasn’t the first time it had happened and we’re attacked by feminists constantly. Then unexpectedly, the page was unpublished which triggered the entire process” said another admin involved with the page.

“To be honest, I’d given up hope that the page would be restored. We searched everywhere and exhausted every available option on facebook to get it back, all to no avail. This morning when I got up, I noticed a facebook notification that someone had posted something on Meninist and was overjoyed to discover it was back”.

In a post, Meninist thanked Breitbart Tech for our coverage.
