CNN Touts Non-Existent 'Cease-Fire Deal'

On Friday, CNN announced news that the Israeli Cabinet unanimously rejected a proposal for a temporary truce between Israel and Hamas by Secretary of State John Kerry with the caption: “Israelis Reject Cease-Fire Deal.” 

The headline was misleading for three reasons: 1. There was no “deal,” but a mere proposal; 2. Kerry was not offering a real ceasefire, but a temporary truce; 3. There was no indication Hamas would agree to the terms.
