Deputy Secretary For State Dept: No Idea Who Changed Rice's Talking Points

Deputy Secretary Nides told Congress yesterday that he didn’t have any idea who changed the talking points that were given to Susan Rice to take out the words “Al Qaeda” and “terrorism” but that he believed the inter-agencies were operating on “good faith.” He also said that the main priority the days leading up to Rice’s appearance was the safety of those in our consulates and embassies around the world that were still under attack.
