Tuesday at the White House press briefing, press secretary Josh Earnest had a hard time trying to explain to ABC News’ chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl if President Barack Obama believes climate change is worse than terrorism.
Earnest stonewalled on a direct comparison, saying instead, “I think the point that the president is making is that there are many more people on an annual basis who have to confront the impact, the direct impact on their lives, of climate change, or on the spread of a disease, than on terrorism.”
