Iowa Dems Can’t Name Hillary Accomplishment at State Dept

A group of Iowa Democrats could not name an accomplishment by Hillary Clinton during her time at the State Department in a Bloomberg Politics/Purple Strategies focus group broadcast on Wednesday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC.

After group leader Mark Halperin asked for “significant” accomplishments by Hillary as Secretary of State, members of the group struggled to come up with answers.  One member argued “She’s been at a high level in numerous offices for about 25 years now,” criticized Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) for “destroying America’s unions,” and said that Hillary’s “not perfect. But she’s been in the eye for a long time — in the public’s eye, and you’re going to have some stuff on her. But, she has great policies and she knows how to get stuff done.”
