Obama to Boehner: ‘Man, I’m Gonna Miss You’

In an interview now-former Speaker of the House John Boehner conducted with Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” host Bill Hemmer that aired on Friday, Boehner revealed President Barack Obama admitted he will miss the Ohio congressman.

“He said, ‘Boehner, man, I’m gonna miss you,’ ” Boehner said.

Boehner said to Hemmer that he replied, “Yes you are Mr. President. Yes you are.”

Boehner went on to say he had a good relationship with Obama, despite their disagreements.

“We had disagreements over all kinds of issues but we have a good relationship because I think it’s essential that the leaders be able to work with each other, have a relationship, have some trust so we can do the nation’s business,” Boehner said.
