Vice President Joe Biden, whose smooth, debonair speaking style has made him the envy of every aspiring Casanova entering the political world gave romantic neophytes another instructive lesson on Thursday during a mock swearing-in session for new senators in Congress.

When the photographer taking pictures of new North Dakota Senator Heidi Heitkamp and her family advised them to “drop your hands to the side,” Biden turned to Heitkamp and uttered another gem: “Spread your legs — you’re going to be frisked.”

There was no report whether Heitkamp obeyed Biden’s instructions.
