Remembering Andrew at CPAC
Today marks two years since we lost a dear friend of mine, Andrew Breitbart. His presence at the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference will be sorely missed, but he will be with so many of us in spirit. No matter how much time passes, his memory and his passion are still in our hearts and minds.
This world is a better place because he was in it, and we must never stop fighting for the cause he loved so dearly. It has brought me great joy to work so closely over the years with those who were closest to him, Stephen K. Bannon and Larry Solov, who do such amazing work here at Breitbart. Thank you for your work day in and day out to uphold Andrew’s great legacy.
We are honoring Andrew again this year with our inaugural “Andrew Breitbart Defender of the First Amendment Award” presented by Citizens United and Breitbart News Network. I am honored to be presenting this award to conservative warrior Mark Levin. Mark is not only a tireless fighter for the cause of conservatism, but he is a great man, and I am proud to call him my friend.
Citizens United is once again hosting our theater at CPAC and will screen some of our award-winning films, along with films produced by other great conservatives. If you are attending CPAC next week, be sure to stop by Chesapeake Conference Rooms 4, 5, and 6 to say hello and watch some of the movies we will be screening!
In addition to the films, we are thrilled to be hosting events featuring some very special guests. We are honored to welcome Governor Mike Huckabee, Speaker Newt Gingrich and his wife Callista Gingrich, Senator Rick Santorum, Congressman Allen West, and Donald Trump.
We look forward to seeing you at CPAC if you are attending; we look forward to honoring and standing alongside so many grassroots conservatives who are on the front lines daily fighting for freedom and preserving the American Dream. You can visit us at our booth in the exhibit hall or at the CPAC Theater. I encourage you to view the full schedule of our screenings and events at the theater here.
