Dan Sullivan Mocks Mark Begich Using His Own Ad Footage

Republican Senate candidate Dan Sullivan’s campaign has just released a new ad making fun of Sen. Mark Begich – using footage from the incumbent Democrat’s own ad.

Struggling with personal approval ratings, Begich released a new ad last week featuring his mother and his wife lovingly debating whether he was “cheap” or just “frugal.”

A PPP poll released Tuesday showed that Begich has a negative approval rating – 42 percent in favor and 51 percent against.

The new video ends with Begich sheepishly shaking his head in the kitchen begrudgingly approving the ad.

The Sullivan campaign used Begich’s awkward look as a response to his record as US Senator, reminding voters that he cast the “deciding vote for Obamacare” and voted with President Obama 97 percent of the time.
