Polls Prove Media Cover Up of Bad Economic News Not Working

All day long, I suffer through 14 to 16 hours of CNN and MSNBC as I surf online mainstream media sites overwhelmed by the lies, bias, and corruption that 20 people working 24 hours a day couldn’t possibly rebut. Oddly enough, though, this doesn’t mean I know what’s going on in the world. All it means is that I know what the corrupt media wants me to know.

It’s called The Narrative, and The Narrative is all the corrupt media cares about — not the news, not the truth, not information, and certainly not anything that might harm Barack Obama’s chances for reelection. This is why the first instinct of ABC News Friday morning was to shift The Narrative of the “Dark Knight” murders on to their political enemies — the Tea Party.

Today, the news is still all about that terrible massacre, which is perfectly understandable, but one does get the impression that media is glad to have yet another distraction from the not so very good (awful) economic news released in the last hours. (What was the media’s excuse last week?)

Anyway, here’s what we’ve learned about our faltering today and over the weekend:

Unemployment rose in 27 states.

Earnings Show Recession May Be “Fast Approaching”

After spending 50 years and trillions of dollars on the War On Poverty, thanks to Barack Obama’s failed policies, Poverty has won.

Economic growth forecasts darkening.

Thanks to New media, however, the corrupt media’s distraction-push (that allies itself closely with the Obama campaign and reaches all the way back to the War on Women) isn’t working. Through New Media and social media, the truth is getting out, and the people are getting the information they need.

Obama and the media have spent weeks and $100 million ignoring the economic downturn to focus on Romney, his taxes, and Bain Capital. But the race is still a tie nationally, with Romney gaining in battleground states.

Moreover, Blame Bush is no longer working. A just-released poll shows that…

53 percent of voters say Obama has taken the wrong actions and has slowed the economy down. Forty-two percent said he has taken the right actions to revive the economy[.]

And if you want to talk about a massive narrative fail for both the President and his Media Palace Guards, get a load of this: By 2-to-1, voters believe Romney’s business background, including at Bain, will help him fix the economy:

Despite concerted Democratic attacks on his business record, Republican challenger Mitt Romney scores a significant advantage over President Obama when it comes to managing the economy, reducing the federal budget deficit and creating jobs, a national USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.

By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney’s background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation’s economic problems over the next four years.

Keep on keeping on, New Media.
