Piers Morgan may finally have the guts to confront someone from the right who is articulate and reasoned and who very well may leave him looking like shredded underwear. Morgan is supposed to have Breitbart editor-at-large Ben Shapiro, the author of "Bullies: How The Left's Culture Of Fear And Intimidation Silences Americans", as a guest tonight, which would be quite a change from lacerating Alex Jones.
Will Morgan, who now has the White House laughably defending him from more than 100,000 Americans who signed a petition calling for his deportation deign to have a rational debate over guns, or would he prefer to hide behind Barack Obama’s proverbial skirt? In defending Morgan, White House spokesman Jay Carney loftily intoned, “The Constitution not only guarantees an individual right to bear arms, but also enshrines the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press - fundamental principles that are essential to our democracy.”
Can anyone out there say Rush Limbaugh/Sandra Fluke?
Morgan now has the most powerful man in the world behind him. You would think that would be enough to give him the confidence to debate Shapiro, but we’ll see.
