Savage Wins Federal Ruling Against Former Employer, OTRN Appeals

Radio talk show host Michael Savage has won the latest round in his legal battle with former syndicator Original Talk Radio Network. A federal court upheld an arbitration panel’s decision stating that Original Talk Radio Network did not legally exercise its right to match when Savage’s contract ran out and he was offered employment by another entity. Savage is currently signed with Cumulus Media Networks.

Mark Masters, CEO of Original Talk Radio Network, said he was confident that the ruling would be reversed on appeal: “We are appealing this ruling. We are confident of a successful outcome for OTRN in the next round of appeals.”
