Uh Oh, Joe: U.S. Troops May Not Come Home in 2014

During last week's VP Debate, Joe Biden said, "We are leaving [Afghanistan] in 2014, period." As he was saying that, Afghan and U.S. negotiators were meeting in Kabul to set up discussions for extending the U.S. troop presence in Afghanistan beyond 2014.

In a ninety-minute debate against Congressman Paul Ryan, Biden claimed that Syria was five times larger than Libya, that the Obama administration was never told more security was requested for Benghazi, that ending the Afghanistan troop surge early made it safer for the troops remaining behind, that Obama's approach to Syria does not aid Al-Qaeda, and that all of our remaining troops in Afghanistan were coming home in 2014 "period."

He may prove to have been wrong on every count.
