House of Israel Vandalized in San Diego

Glass doors at the House of Israel, a cottage that showcases the culture and history of Israel, which is located in San Diego’s Balboa Park, were vandalized and shattered by rocks over the weekend. The motivation for the crime is still unknown. 

The House of Israel was reportedly the only one of 33 exposition cottages which represent the traditions and cultures of other nations to be targeted, according to the United-Tribune San Diego.

Tammy Gilles of the Anti-Defamation League said the discovery was made on Saturday morning and that there was no note or message indicating the reasoning behind the act on the cottage which sees more than 12,000 international visitors annually.

The San Diego Police Department was reportedly notified notes U-T San Diego. Breitbart News Network contacted the department on Monday, which said several calls were made regarding the House of Israel incident but that they do not yet have any developments on the case.
